Was looking through some SERIOUSLY old artwork and found a mask I did for my 2006? college art project. Was to make a mask or costume based on "Alice in Wonderland" which tied in with our overall theme of the year. At the time mines was things like suicide, murder, that sort of thing. The idea was that when people see these events in the news it doesnt hit them as much because they never knew the people involved. SO I brought people in the class, and friends and family in, and turned them into these crimes and events, forcing everyone to not only recognise that they are seeing people they know dead, but the ways in which it was done, and recognising it all rather than claiming ignorance. ANYWAY, I chose the character of the white rabbit. Focused on the themes of being a slave to the red queen, turned him into a prisoner, and turned him into a zombie bunny lol. I had alot of fun with this. I'd like to do a BETTER version of this one day. Its a FULL head mask with a stitched up back, tying the wearer into it entirely. Only one eye hole. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
